This item is for 1 PINT OF HUNGARIAN WAX PEPPERS. The Hungarian Wax Pepper, originating from Hungary, is also referred to as the Hungarian Hot Wax Pepper. It is often mistaken for the banana pepper due to their similar appearance, but it packs more heat. Typically, these peppers are picked before they reach full maturity, measuring about 8 inches in length and 2 inches in thickness. If allowed to fully ripen, they will turn red and their heat level will intensify significantly. The skin of Hungarian Wax Peppers is waxy and edible, with a thick flesh. These peppers are widely used in traditional Latin cuisine, such as mole sauces, soups, and salads. They can also be pickled or grilled for added crunchiness.
