Our 2026 CSA is ready for blast off!

Hello Friends,

Well, April and May just blew right by! I don't think that I could even accurately tell you how many plants have been seeded and planted in the soil these past two months. Hundreds of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, greens, and one thousand asparagus crowns have all been planted in our new growing space.

Did you know that it takes three years before you can eat the stalks of an asparagus plant? This farming gig is definitely a game of patience and perseverance based on what the weather and life has in store for us, but we like to call it hard fun because we love what we do. It is a true testament of faith and hard work that what we plant will grow and prosper. Here are a few photos of the fun so far.

We have also been busy working on our infrastructure as our 25 week CSA launches next week. We are deeply grateful to say that we sold out all of our shares. If you don't yet have a share and are interested in signing up for our waitlist, please feel free to send an email through our website. In the meantime, we will have plenty of extra produce for you at the store on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-6pm.

In order to process all of our produce, we have set up a Wash Pack station. This is how we can ensure that our vegetables are cleaned properly and then stored in our new refrigerated box truck setup so they stay fresh until we fill your orders.

This year we will only be attending the Bedminster Farmer's Market on the first Saturday of each month (except July). We hope to see you there!

We are happy to announce that we will be hosting farm tours once a month during the growing season, so if you've ever wondered about how your food is grown, or how we farm regeneratively using Permaculture practices, please join us sometime this season to learn more. The first one is on June 12th and space is limited.

Our super popular Forest Farm walk and Sound Bath workshop returns to celebrate the Summer Solstice on Friday, June 19th. It's a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the week, learn more about seasonal eating, and give yourself a little grace as we head into the heat of Summer.

I leave you with an image of one of our two new apiaries. We have grown from twelve hives to a total of twenty one! It is estimated that one in every three bites of food we eat we owe to pollinators. So small, but so powerful and important!

We wish you a wonderful weekend. Thank you for your kind attention. May God bless you and your family today and always.

Sincerely,
Michele & the Maranatha Farm Team
